Hi friends,
 
I have a problem to understand what is the right classification of a
Phenacovolva.
 
I have two books, One is Shells of the Philippines (Leobrera & Springsteen),
other is Seashells of the world (J. Eisenberg)
 
Leobrera classify the shell Phenacovolva (Turbovula) brevirostris
(Schumacher) synonym of Ovula soverbyiana (Weinkauff).
Eisenberg classify it like Phenacovolva soverbyiana (Weinkauff) and classify
Phenacovolva brevirostris (Schumacher)
like separated species and synonym of Phenacovolva birostris (Linneo).
Leobrera instead classify Phenacovolva (Phenacovolva) birostris (Linneo)
like a separated species.
 
I'm lucky to have not another book.....
 
Can anyone enlighten me ?
