Tom,

Never heard about this guy. By the way, does anyone knows is Paul Zahn's son kept his collection? He
wrote that amazing article on National Geographic's magazine in 1969.

Mac McCurdy

Hey Conch-Lers,

Anyone remember a shell collector (collected from about 1910 to 1970) named
Mac McCurdy? He apparently amassed quite a collection that is now housed
and displayed in a county historical museum in Montana. Some 22,000 shells
are on display. I was contacted by a couple who are researching an article
and would like a bit more information. Thanks,

Tom Eichhorst in New Mexico, USA (cold & windy today)
