Ralph Ferguson, of Ferguson's Marine Specialties, in Wilmington, California,
has been selling shells for 61 years.  He started in 1946, with Robert
Talmadge as his mentor and is still selling specimen and craft shells in his
little shop in Southern california.  He has had two heart attack, a couple
of strokes but he continues to run his shop, with the help of his daughter,
Lupe.
