Kate,
I too feel that there is too much non-shell related material on
this list, but I don't pay $6.00 an hour to use internet. I usually, by
now, (3 months) recognize names who use this list for jokes, sports,
recipes, etc. and don't read their letters. It saves me time and
frustration. If you stay on this list (I hope that you do) you'll find that
the majority of the 384 people subscribing are serious and courteous
people. I know that at times I too push the reply button and don't rewrite
the sender's e-mail address, as I should. I guess some of us make those
mistakes, at times. Most of the e-mail on this list has been useful for me
as I too am isolated in Northern California, with no shellers to share
ideas with. I guess I have learned to not take this problem too seriously.
But, once again, I don't pay $6.00 an hour to use internet.
