Dear Conchers
Thank you for the various comments on the movement of Crepidula fornicata
across to this side of the Atlantic. As apparantly they are edible they are
obviously not entirely unwelcome but as the original article observed and
their name implies they have been very busy colonizing since 1880 -
Americans getting their own back you might say!!
