Dear All:
Now that exams are done and grades are in, I finally have some time to look
and work with my pathetic little collection (hey it's mine and I love it
*Grin*). I have a question regarding a valid name for Epitonium eburneum
(Potiez & Michaud, 1838). When I was last looking through the list from USNM
in Feb 98, it was not listed as a valid species, in fact it was not listed at
all. In Standard Catalog of Shells, Abbott, R. T, Wagner, R., 1978, it is
listed as a valid name. Is E. eburneum a valid name currently? If not what is
the valid name/author.
Thanks in hopes of some answers
