Finding shells dead shells out of range.
A Liguus tree snail from cuba was once found on a beach in yucatan (even
though its not tooo far away) it is proof that shells can travel significant
distances even when dead through currents. It would be interesting in looking
at current patterns and see if any Cyprea found along the path match the
descritption of your shell.
