Hi David,
I'm Dutch but have heaps of Belgian blood. My paternal ancestors came from
Maastricht which was 'ruled' by both Belgium and the Netherlands (Liege and
Braband) for hundreds of years. Hardly strange that people from that region
even today yawn when nationalism is mentioned.
I am proud though that Belgium and the Netherlands have a more than healthy
representation in the world of malacology.
Best Wishes,
Robert
