Dear Folks,
I guess I owe you all an apology! First, when I came "on-line" with
Conch-L, I failed to introduce myself. I am sorry, I am new at this and
didn't know any better. Really, my mama taught me better, but she has been
gone for a long time now and I guess my manners are slipping!
My name is Edward T. Schelling. I am 59 years old and have been
collecting shells since 1955. I am a retired Air Force officer and live in
Niceville, FL [and yes, it is "nice"...in fact, our area was rated in the top
10 areas to live in, in the last Money Mag. rating!] When I was actively
collecting and diving, I specialized in Conus, Cypraea, Murex, Voluta and
Pecten. I not longer dive due to several diving accidents; and I no longer
collect shells since I became a shell "dealer" in 1980. My business name is
"Edward T. Schelling, Worldwide Specimen Shells" operating out of my shop in
Fort Walton Beach, FL [Northwest Florida between Pensacola and Panama City.
I put out monthly free mailing list to anyone who requests one. You can use
this e-mail address to request to be put on this list. No, I will not be
selling shells through this site!
Again, I apologize for not introducing myself earlier and to you who
already get my newsletter...for giving you the wrong address. Sorry!
         Sincerely,
          Ed [Schelling]
