Dear Conchlers

A man comes to the doctor for a visit. The doctors says to
him: "You looks quite well for your age, as I can remember
me you are at the age of 59."
The man: "No, who sayed this. I am just at the age of 69. What
me keeps so young is shell collecting. Diving for beautiful and
interesting shells in different localities and habitats. Is always a
new experiance for me. Then I am collecting and hunting landshells and freshwatershells. So I have to go in the mountains.
And this is very good for heart and for all."
The doctor is amazed and tries to explain it as a generic problem too. "Maybe your father and grandfather got old too." The man answered: "My father is now aged nearly 99 and he
is still shell collector. I learned this from him. He makes again
excursions with me". The doctor more amazed: "How old got
your grandfather, was he shell collector too ?." The man:
"Oh yes, he is collecting shells, my father has learned from him.
But next week he is going to marry." The doctor really amazed:
"How old is he ? And he will marry at his age ?" The man:
"He is aged 130, but he wan't to marry, he must."

with best shelling greetings from me and my nearly 88 years
aged mother Irmgard. Shell collecting keeps young, not onyl
marine ones but also landshells.
Helmut from Innsbruck.
