Hi Paul et al,

Emily Vokes sez all three (brunneus, microphyllus, torrefactus) are valid.
Isn't taxonomy wonderful?

A major distinguishing feature is that microphyllus has 2-3 intervarical
nodes and torrefactus has only one. All three are tropical Indo-Pacific,
not Point Barrow?

Paul, I also think that color is a poor distinguishing feature for most
mollusks, but especially Murcidae and Pectinidae...
