Hello all -
I am using conch shells as centerpieces for my wedding this September and I
was wondering if anyone out there knew of any Urban legend-type stories or
folk tales relating to conch shells that I could somehow tie into my special
day. The shells I have are similar to the picture below (I am a
shell-novice and I have learned through this site that it appears all shells
are considered "conch". I thought that they were only these large shells
with the salmon colored inside). I'd greatly appreciate any and all
information.

Thanks,
