The ICZN has actually published a recommendation that certain people's names
be misspelled when naming species after them????  WHY??  Does it have
something to do with the incompatibility of "Mc" with Latin?  We manage to
latinize Japanese names - Scandinavian names - Polynesian names.  What
possible purpose could this recommendation have?
