Well, the weekend is approaching so it's time for the Q-Man to do some
asking.
First, I want to congratulate Helmut on his mother's birthday. They
appear to have a lovely relationship. My own mother will be 99 this
October. I attribute her longevity to the fact that, in my whole life, I
never stepped on a line or a crack.
The QUESTION is this: How do you raise mollusks in an aquarium? I don't
mean those dull little green things that skutter around the glass. I'd
like to know a bit about raising, feeding, etc.
What are the best gastropods to get? What do you feed 'em? How long
might they live? What's the chance of eggs hatching and growing up? What
kind of special care do they need?
I know a guy had both me and Helmut et al in an aquarium "Shell War"
setting. I don't want war. I just want nice looking shellfish so I can
be the first kid on the block to have them.
