Yesterday I noted that I had a Sassia sp. on loan for photography and
asked what separates Sassia from Cymatium.  No answers yet.

At the same time, I also had a shell named Mitra (Mitra) maui.  That
specimen was very nearly dead, but did put out the siphon and I was able
to photograph that and a small part of the side of the foot as well as
the foot crawling surface.  It was obvious that this this was not in the
Mitra (Mitra) subgenus as the animal was quite colorful except for the
white foot crawling surface.  Hans Turner had illustrated the species
and it had been moved to Ziba so it is now Ziba maui.

I have a similar question for this Mitrid.  What separates Zibia from
Mitra?
