Thomas , I'll take a stab at this one , how about liggus ? BTW, I do have a
few unionidae that are very colorful interior wise that is , some are a rose
color, others blueish, some a golden brown. but you are absolutley right
that the majority of them fresh water mussels are bone white . Ferret,
