Thanks for the nudge to post this, I had taken a picture. Not sure about attachments on this list, so here's a link. It's been pretty popular.

Hi Heather,

University of Chicago library has a nice early-20th century city street map of the south side on one of its walls. It shows the railways and stockyards made famous by Upton Sinclair's "The jungle", and a number of now-dismantled commuter lines, so great for new/international students, urban planners, historians, etc.

Hi,

We have the potential to add a large maps themed graphic (vinyl wrap) outside our space. the wall is about 13x10.

I would love to see photos of what you all have in your spaces for inspiration.

Subject: Career opportunity

Hello all,

The Pittsburgh Port Authority is hiring a Senior Planner in their Service Development team that will lead GIS analysis projects for the department and support the agency’s GIS needs. They will actually be hiring two positions from the same posting, one that has more of GIS focus, and one who has more of a service planning focus (bus routes, interconnecting different types of service, working on new corridors with our infrastructure teams, etc.). There will be a strong component of equity analysis in all of this work as well building on past efforts like their Equity Index of Mobility need. They’ll be working on the big Bus Line Redesign network plan for the next few years as well.

It will help a lot if you spread the word about this opportunity. Link is below.

Many thanks!

Boris Michev
