Paul, how comprehensive will this publication be, and how soon can I expect to see it available? I've been crying in my soup about the lack of a good book about the gastropods on the Pacific coast of North America and Mexico.

Folks,

Dan Geiger, Lindsey Groves and Jann Vendetti are supervising the finishing and publication of all Jim McLean's decades of work on the Gastropoda of the North American West Coast. As one tiny part, Dr. Snyder and I have just published a paper on some fusinine gastropods found from Baja California to Canada that Jim was working on. If you have anything marked "Barbarofusus barbarensis" or "Harfordia harfordii" in your collection, you might be interested in this. It's in the latest Proceedings of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia and you can see the abstract at http://www.bioone.org/doi/abs/10.1635/053.165.0105
