Sent: Mar 8, 2011 9:43 AM

If possible, please post to Ag teacher listserve. Thanks.

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources will be conducting a National Archery in the Schools Program teacher workshop Tuesday, May 3 at Bulloch Academy in Statesboro from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Teachers interested in teaching an archery unit and/or forming an archery team at their school will be certified as a Basic Archery Instructor at this workshop. Schools that have more than two teachers certified will be eligible for a $1,500 archery equipment grant. There are also exceptions for schools with only one P.E. or Ag teacher.

Please contact Matt Stewart at 229.430.1847 or e-mail [log in to unmask] for more information on the archery program or to register for the workshop. More program information is available at www.nasparchery.com or www.gohuntgeorgia.com and click on 'Education' tab.
