Target Local Store Grants. Target Corporation's Local Store Grants
provide funding support to "Target" communities in the areas of arts,
reading programs, and family violence prevention. (note: school

Garden Burger Community Garden Grants.
Community gardening can range from creating a small school garden to
adopting an abandoned plot of land and turning it into something
useful and beautiful. An organization can apply for a minimum of
$1,000 and a maximum of $10,000. Due May 15, 2000.

Garden Crusaders Award. The Garden Crusader Awards were created by
Gardener's Supply in 2001 to honor individuals of any age who are
improving the world through gardening. Nomination due June 15. See

Georgia Master Gardener Grants. Each year the Georgia Master Gardener
Association allocates monies to help support a variety of educational
horticultural projects in the state of Georgia. As a general
guideline, grants usually are in the $100-$700 range. See details

Captain Planet Foundation Grants. You can submit a proposal at any
time during the year. However, proposals will only be reviewed the

America the Beautiful Fund's Operation Green Plant program is offering
grants of FREE SEEDS (Vegetable, Flower, or Herb) to encourage citizen
