The Georgia Department of Natural Resources will hold a National Archery in the Schools Program teacher workshop Thursday, May 23 at Georgia Southern University, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Any teacher interested in providing an in-school archery unit to their students is invited to attend. Two or more teachers attending qualifies the school for a $1,500 archery equipment grant. The training is free to teachers.
