If possible, please send out this workshop info for the National Archery in the Schools Program. Not sure how many teachers will see this during the summer....
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources will hold a National Archery in the Schools Program teacher workshop Monday, July 26 at Pierce County Middle School in Blackshear, Ga. This basic archery instructor training will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Schools that have at least two Agriculture or P.E. teachers, or a combination of the two, certified at the workshop will qualify for a $1,500 grant from DNR to go toward archery equipment. NASP certified schools are also eligible to participate in annual state and national competitions.
Please contact Matt Stewart at 229.430.1847 or e-mail [log in to unmask] for more information or to register for the workshop.
