To all members of Conch-L,
We have almost finished the cataloguing of the Robert Talmadge
Collection at College of the Redwoods. This month, or next, we will have a
memorial exhibit for Robert(died: 1979) at the CR library, with some of the
myriad specimens collected in the 50's-70's on the north coast and
worldwide. We are now down to the last few shells in the collection and
are asking for your help in giving data for the following shells, if
possible. As many (most) of these species were collected more than 20-40
years ago, the genus/species names have been changed and we need your help
in finding the changes. I have given only the basic data as the only
things needed are mostly authors and/or dates of publication. There are a
couple of the names that have no other data, except names (probably
outdated) but if you can give us SOME information on these species, it
would be appreciated.
