Hello Scott,
 
I am an italian shell collector.I know very well Phuket ,I go in Thailand every
3/4 months.So, I can give you that:June is no good month for diving , if
you want see the Shell Museum of my friend Somwang Patamakanthin now is
open.
You can find it on Rawii beach in the south of Phuket.If you haven't reserve
any htl,try to reserve it on Kata beach area,you can find hear the best sea &
beaches.
