Does anybody have an idea of the WR size for Achatina achatina? It is
most probably bigger than the one i have, but it would be nice to know
how close mine comes! Where does one go to find "record" sizes of land
snails anyway - there are more shell-bearing mollusc species on the land
than in the sea, but for some reason they haven't attracted anywhere
near the attention! (even though a LOT of them are fabulously beautiful
- none it is true, are really shiny like those ceramic-egg wannabees
people pay $10,000 for, but is this the REAL reason why??)
'nuff questions - any answers?
Cracked-up in Canada,
Ross.
