Thanks, Tom and Ross, for posting the pictures of the Bullias on the
Conch-l images website.

I hope someone will be able to give us the definitive answer on their
identity. For me, this question has a bit more personal meaning since I
spent my 2 weeks in India thinking they were Terebras. They are also quite
abundant in an area where it's difficult to get intact shells right after
the monsoon season (Varkala, Kerala).

Their wide variety of color and patterns and habit of digging in and out of
the sand in the splash zone reminded me strongly of Coquinas. (Possibly,
they are going after small Donax.)
