Dear Henk (and others),

Thank you for the reply.

I should have mentioned that we had looked at that solution already, so
excuse me for putting you on a track we already explored. I'll try to be
more extensive : the name "Acropsis" is treated as a genus(?) in the
superfamily Cypraeacea (sic) which in itself is not a correct spelling. The
reference is following :

Taylor, JD (1971) Intertidal zonation at Aldabra Atol. - Phil. Trns. Roy.
Soc. Lond. series B, 260, p. 173-213

Now if anybody knows this article and/or the subject(s) it treats, could we
have information on what the author meant with "Acropsis", if it would be a
misspelling or a first-published name (omitted in Vaught's classification?).
I think there must be some other trace of this somewhere because the journal
I'm referring to would have enough standards as to omit any typo's or at
least correct them afterwards?

My personal guess would be "Eratopsis" misspelled as "Acropsis", but then
again this would be quite a fluke...

Thanks for any input and help!

Jan
