Bob,

It lives (or lived) in 3 to 4 feet of water on mussel beds in southern
Aruba. Rusty Bennett found them feeding on said mussels. Although they were
common when they were first found, the last time the Bennetts were in Aruba
there was not one to be had. As you know, souther Aruba has had lots of
construction by its shores.

Yes, I do think it is a valid species. Although closely related to
Murexiella macgintyi, M. hilli is larger, more spinose, and the siphonal
canal has three large spines, and two smaller ones between the body whorl
and the siphonal canal. Emily Vokes and Roland Houart share my opinion.
