Helmut...The shell you asked about, Syrinx aruanus is listed in Rices Prices
which is our best source for approximate worth off shells...for anywhere
from $20.00 for one from Australia at 200mm ...a250mm one around $50..270mm
for $65 ...a 480mm is $95.00 and one at 575mm is listed at $150.00 .....From
Indonesia one listed as 470mm is quoted for $125.00.  These prices are not
always exact but offer a good average on the going prices ...if you dont
have one of these books you may want to invest in one.  Tom Rice puts them
