Dear Carol,
There is a superb photo of lajonkrainii in Dr Barry Wilson's latest book,
"Australian Seashells".
This specimen I collected on Christmas Island, Northern Indian Ocean.
On this Island they are relatively common. However, good quality specimens
are exceedingly rare. I don't know how widespread they are in the Indian
Ocean, but on Christmas Island they are found in 1-3 metres of water amongst
large coral bommies.
Best regards,
Hugh Morrison
