This is perhaps a good place to note that the genus for the Florida horse conch (and its Panamic cousin, among others) should be Triplofusus Olsson and Harbison.  Keen, 1971 noted that they do not belong in Pleuroploca, but overlooked the Olsson and Harbison genus.  L. Campbell 1993 (recently cited on this list for Pliocene identifications) mentions this as well.
