You sure can join COA...membership form at their sight.  AND not miss an
issue of that beautiful magazine.

The convention was off to a great start today....with many registering
early.
So much fun seeing old friends and making new ones.

Buses depart at 8 a.m. in the morning for a full day at Harbor Branch
Oceanographic Institution....with some wonderful tours and a lovely
buffet luncheon.

The hotel has been absolutely FANTASTIC!   When we arrived at 10 a.m.
all the convention area was set up and ready to go.  The COA Committee
heads gradually trickled into the area bringing in their vans full of
decorations, auction shells and so much more.

The staff at the hotel can't do enough for us.  Constantly asking if we
need anything or can do anything for us!

Workshop signups are filling up fast.  Looks like this will be a VERY
popular feature this year.

The Caribbean food in the restaurant at the hotel is really good and
different.
I had coconut/curry chicken tenders tonight on a bed of Spinach that was
out of this world.

Tomorrow night....I'm going to enjoy that hot tub in our suite!   More
registration tomorrow and work to do in the convention office.
Saturday.....everything happens!   It will be an exciting day with an
impressive opening ceremony and the welcome party with lots of
surprises.

Wish I could give you a report every night.......but will fill you all
in when I get back home on July 12!
