Hi Linda
Although it may not be a valid sub-species... C. tigris schilderiana is said
to be a variety which grows to a very large size but distinguishes itself by
becoming quite bulbous in form, over large specimens of C. tigris found from
other parts of the Indo-nonspecific.

> Question: Is there any way of telling a schilderiana from just a big
regular tigris other than absolute confirmation that it came from Hawaii. We
have one in the collection; it is labelled from Hawaii, but we have found the
data in this collection to be somewhat sparse and sometimes confusing.
