Hello Alfonso , the Marginellids you mention are Gibberula species ,
ocurring in the Red Sea area ,
so it is Gibberula savignyi ,(Issel,1869) , and Gibberula
sueziensis(Issel1869)
My species are from Hurgada , Red Sea , and several other localities . I
don't believe they occur in the Persian Gulf area , but this has to be
confirmed .And from the Red Sea area , there are only two more Marginellids
known , the Granulina isseli Nevill&Nevill, 1875 , and the big one compared
to these Cystiscidae is Prunum terverianum (Petit,1851) ,Well , I hope you
can use this information , Alfonso ,
Ciao, Jan Neefs
