Not only is the speed wrong, but purpurescens is not one of the more toxic cones.  Watching the first Jurassic Park movie with a couple of other geology graduate students resulted in a nearly continuous commentary on mistakes.  The amber purportedly supplying dino DNA is about 30 million years younger than the extinction of the dinosaurs...

For greater molluscan appeal, we need a sequel titled Jurassic Aquarium.  Perhaps genetically reconstituted ammonites and rudists could turn out to be fond of eating Hollywood extras, too.
