Dear Avril;
        I think this is a teramachi Kuroda, 1955: it is not like any hirasei i
have seen. I have a very similar one from Taiwan, which is much heavier
than it should be: i am wondering if this "solidness" - much heavier for
the size than similar Pleurotomariids is a characteristisic of
teramachi, or whether it is unique to the Taiwan population - anybody
know about this?

From the North, Great or not!
