The primary reason the virus made its way to your
computer is because of "Uncle Bill's" software
(i.e., Microsoft). Its "interconnectivity" is the
problem.

...And, as others have said, because your name was
in an "address book" that the malicious 'virus'
program was written to take advantage of.
