Happy New Year, CONCH-L!

I have a question. It seems as if the Xenophora pallidula
that I have had have a predominance of Turrids attached
(except for the juvenile part, where one valve of bivalves
seem to predominate). Is there any explanation for this?
Or is it just the Turrids are the most prominent group in
the area where the Xenophora live and collect?

Cordially,
Linda
