In the Dominican Republic, however (Salinas), I just saw evidence of lots
of juveniles down to about 4 inches (10 cm) being taken. Also S. costatus,
which used to be discarded seven years ago.
The whole country shows signs of "progress" compared to seven years ago:
increased population and development and improved economy. This has also
brought on an unbelievable amount of paper and plastic garbage strewn all
over the country roads and beaches.
