For the cowry fanciers...

I recently happened, once again, upon a Honey Cowry I'd taken 15 years ago
at Makua.

As I remeasured it--along with others of this species--it occurred to me
that this was
very different from any other cowry that I'd handled recently.

I've whipped together a short, image-intensive article on my website.
CONCH-Lers
get the first look at it.

You'll find at http://www.cowrys.org/research/artifact.htm

Aloha,

makuabob (Bob Dayle)
