Getting rid of introduced (and thriving) species aint easy. Think KUDZU! Usually the best one can do is get the introduced species under some control. Wouldn't you just hate to be the one who killed the LAST zebra mussel? Don't worry---you wont be. Size is important. One can get rid of introduced elephants. Small, hiding rats is another matter. Water protected mollusks have to be attacked with some other species that likes to eat them. Then, when they're gone, what do they eat?
    Is a puzzlement.
