Agreed, Peter!

My husband and I just came from the Missour Botanical Garden, and in addition to viewing the annual orchid exhibit, we went through the new section of the climatron
devoted to the tropical rainforests of the world.  Think of the plethora of unamed species (which we will probably destroy in 50 years at the current rate), abd then look at that 1.75 million. Ridiculously low!
