Papers on rearing of land snails occasionally mention mite infestations.
The following 2 papers are the only ones that I know of that specifically
deal with mites of land mollusks.

Turk & Phillips
A monograph of slug mite-Riccardoella limacum
Proc. Zool. Soc. London 115:448, 1946

Polaco & Mendl
Occurrence of Mites in Mexican land snails
Nautilus 102:129, 1988
