Thanks, Joan. Interesting site. I didn't know for instance that
two-thirds of stingray stings are venomous.

I'm not terribly worried, to judge from collectors of Pacific cone
species. Maybe the clip was a simulated fictional story. I think there
must be information about the distance the radula can be thrust. That
would be one clue about the veracity of this rumor.
