Hi, Ross!

I hven't written for a LONG time. Congratulations to you, LaVerne, and Paul for the great Conus site. Boy, I wish I had some of the more expensive ones - my taste runs to the espensive, not deliberately.

Did you ever find a house to move into?

I am still playing the organ in the Lutheran Church but have been watching a lot of Catholic television. I converted to Catholicism when I lived in Toronto. I would return to the church but cannot afford to give up my job in my Lutheran Church, so I guess I will stay there, unless the Lord decides to move me. (Also, there have been a lot of incidents in my life which might prevent my being accepted back into the church.) So it is probably a moot point. But my pastor at our church gives us no spiritual "meat," as his knowledge of theology, or what he reveals in his sermons, is very weak. I guess he needs me, as hardly anyone else could play the things he uses - many which I have picked up by ear, not by music; but spiritually, I don't need him.

I am sharing this with you in confidence; I don't think LaVerne could cope with the idea that I might return to Catholicism. Many people have misconceptions about the Catholic church and are quite prejudiced against it.

I would wish you a Happy 4th of July, but that means nothing in Canada. We will suffer through our neighbor's illegal fireworks tonight; we don't want to start a war by complaining. So we'll just have the water hose and fire extinguishers handy.

Send me a note if and when you get time. Did you ever get your acquaintance in the Philippines set up in business?

God Bless,
Linda
