        I think you put it very well.  There are a great deal of us who monitor but
don't enter into discussions.  I myself for instance have been on the CONCH-L
for a number of years and only responded to messages posted when I had
something of value to contribute.  Sure some of the items discussed don't
interest me and my computer is equipped with a "Delete" key that handles those
rare instances quite well.
        Sorry to hear about your wet weather, having survived our "hundred year
flood" here in San Antonio I can well imagine what you are going through.
