Dear Pete;-
    You're right about racoons. We have a couple of twins deep in the
brush behind our house. They used to raid the garbage cans. Then I
started leaving them left-overs. Then, dumb me, I started putting out
a can of cat food. The cat food disappears, the garbage is left alone.
 I have never seen the twins since the one time I rescued them in
infancy from the garbage can. Now is that dumb or what!
