Many nudibranchs are thought to exhibit mimicry. I'm aware of only one
example among shelled gastropod. Gosliner, Behrens & Williams (1996, p. 137)
report that the mantles of juvenile Ovula ovum (Egg Cowrie) "appear to mimic
the toxic nudibranch Phyllidia madangensis. When the specimens grow larger
than the maximum size of the nudibranch, they change their appearance."
