Hey Ivan,
I forgot to say this before, but you need to make good notes on exactly
where you found your prize. The same goes for any shell you may collect,
good data is a very important part of any collection and diving and live
collecting gives you a good opportunity to collect great data, too.
Location as exact as you can place it, depth, environment(sand, coral
slabs, whatever), water temperature (if known) as well as the date of
collecting..and anything else you can think of. This really adds to the
scientific value of the speciman. If you, or any of your dive buddies,
are into photography it is really great if you can get a good pic of the
critter in place..even if you can't collect it for some reason. This
along with the same type of data can also be very valuable and a pc way
to collect.
