Some time back, I exchanged a C. fultoni with a Sheller from Mozambique.
He listed the shell as C. fultoni fultoni and it is also quite rough,
especially on the dorsal part of the shell. Like Tom, it would be
interesting in knowing why dose this happen with this specie.

Kind regards to all,

Carlos (Portugal)

P.S - The one I have in my collection (about 69 mm) was dredged at a
depth of 150 metres - Mozambique Chanal near Inhambane (1997)
